Sand Cast Glass

CENTERFIELD

Additional Info

“Texture not color” was the input from the client. They wanted three spaces activated, a barn style hanging pantry door, a backsplash divider to separate the kitchen from the dining room and something decorative in the tall wall spaces above the cooking area. I designed a pattern that could be used in all three locations despite the wide range of glass sizes. The pattern was rolled into a bed of foundry sand and thick pieces of window glass were heated to pick up the pattern. I also designed the brackets to support the divider and the handing pots and pans system.
